Friday Flash Fiction: Flash of Light

Dammit, what happened to his meeting? We waited so long for this. Our poems and confessions--our collective raunch--were all just a prologue. I tore at her skin when finally I saw her. I wanted only to taste her. But with my flattened tongue between her breasts, I felt her heart stop as the  front door slammed.

Over my echoing pulse, I could barely hear their mumbling. How was she covering? Did he notice my bra on his reading chair? Did he notice my perfume on her lips and breasts?

Held protectively by the wardrobe's darkness, I hear her implore, "Here, give me your coat--no, wait!" And with a flash of light I am revealed.

"Ah, so I see you have met my secretary," he says.
